Well... what's this?

This is my website. My name is Sarah Crowle, and I'm a hobbyist software developer and professional IT lady currently living in Calgary, Alberta.

I specialize in porting FOSS software to strange platforms -- I've done things like porting Bochs to MS-DOS, or QEMU to the Apple TV. Right now I'm working on a portable Wayland protocol implementation so that I can get Wayland support on IRIX. Think "why not?" rather than "why?"!

Professionally speaking I excel at deskside support as well as solving strange issues with Active Directory and SCCM management. Right now I'm working for a major Canadian university, but I'm always keeping an eye out for new and exciting opportunities. I also write music sometimes, but not as much as I'd like to due to some medical issues. Maybe I'll post about that here too, someday...
